Man injured in altercation after collision in Hyde

A man was left with injuries to his face after an altercation in the aftermath of a collision in Hyde earlier this month.

The 44-year-old suffered minor injuries after crashing his car into a bollard on Ashton Road after suffering a medical episode at the wheel at around 1:05pm on the afternoon of Saturday, February 11.

But a short while after the collision, close to Markham Road, the man became involved in a confrontation with another male and suffered minor facial injuries as a result.

Greater Manchester Police also confirmed that officers have launched an investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
