Mossley sign six ahead of Hyde United derby

Mossley have announced the signings of six new players ahead of Saturday’s Evo-Stik Division One North clash against Hyde United at Seel Park.

Former Glossop goalkeeper Dean Williams join the club from West Didsbury & Chorlton, while central defender James Etherington, 26, arrives from Wrexham.

Meanwhile, versatile midfielder/defender keenan Quansah, 19, has signed from Burscough, while midfielders Dan Johnson, 24, and Eddie Busfield, 19, join from New Mills and Silsden respectively.

Striker Craig Billington has joined the club from AFC Emley, and is likely to replace the outgoing Mike Fish who has joined Brighouse Town.

Fish made himself a club legend after making a total of 235 appearances, scoring 87 goals in the process.

UPDATE: Curzon goalkeeper Cam Mason made his debut for the club in Saturday’s 5-0 loss to Hyde United.
