Having signed for Halifax Town at the end of December, former Curzon Ashton striker Adam Morgan appears to have hit the ground running with his new club.

The former Liverpool youngster – who reinvigorated his career with Curzon after scoring a hattrick in the 4-3 loss in the FA Cup to Wimbledon – has notched four times in two games for the Shaymen.

Morgan, 22, scored twice on his debut during Halifax’ 3-2 loss at Darlington on Boxing Day.

The striker scored another two goals in the corresponding fixture on New Years Day, helping Halifax to a 2-2 draw at the Shay.

After signing for Curzon as a free agent at the end of October, Morgan notched a record breaking 11 times in 9 appearances for John Flanagan’s side.
