Former West Hill School pupil Rob Holding had an evening to remember for Arsenal on Saturday.

The Gunners advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup after cruising to an emphatic 5-0 victory against Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.

Arsene Wenger’s side returned from the south coast with the memorable win, thanks to a Danny Welbeck brace and a Theo Walcott hat-trick.

Holding, 21, was signed from Bolton Wanderers for £2 million last summer.

Since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium, Holding has made eight appearances for the club, with three of those coming in the Premier League.

As well as his only appearance in the FA Cup on Saturday, Holding has also featured in the Champions League once, and the League Cup three times.
