Former Audenshaw School pupil Zach Clough helped Bolton Wanderers secure a 2-2 draw at Coventry City in a Sky Bet League One clash on Monday afternoon.

Bolton had to come from behind twice in the game to earn a point, as Marcus Tudgay put the Sky Blues ahead in the 37th minute before Clough levelled matters from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.

The goal marked Clough’s eighth goal of the season.

Phil Parkinson’s side fell behind just two minutes later though, as Stuart Beavon fired home a low shot past Ben Alnwick in goal.

Bolton salvaged a point in the dying embers of the game as Max Clayton showed great composure to convert inside the area in the 91st minute.

Claiming a point at the Rico Arena has pushed Bolton to second in the table and just three points below league leaders Sheffield United.
