A young mum who went missing for three days has been found safe and well, her family say.

Ashleigh Roters, who has connections with Tameside but lives in Stockport, disappeared from Houldsworth Square in Reddish at the weekend.

The 18-year-old, who has a two-year-old son, is thought to have been waiting for a 203 bus to Manchester on Saturday evening.

However, after she had not been in contact with her family since, they launched a desperate appeal to trace her whereabouts.

A Facebook post by her aunt, Lene Roters, was shared more than 5,000 times.

Relatives took to social media last night (Tuesday) to say she was back home safe and well and thanked everyone for their help and support.

Her cousin Bethany Roters said on Facebook: “Thank you everyone for helping me and the rest of my family on the search of my cousin!! She has been found.

“I would like to say a massive thank you to the Greater Manchester Police for all your kindness and support and
helping us find her, you’ve been amazing.”
