The 2017 Pennine League campaign will start on Sunday 23rd April, followed by a ‘double header’ the following weekend.

Stayley, newly promoted to the Premiership will be looking to get underway with a visit to Rochdale, the 2016 Wood Cup finalists.

In the Championship Ashton travel to old rivals Middleton, whilst Micklehurst, looking for a much improved performance in 2017 have a challenging start. They face a visit to Milnrow, who fell at the final hurdle in 2016, losing the play-off final to Monton.

The curtain will fall on the season on Sunday 17th September. After a League Committee review there is a change in the balance of fixtures with 8 league games scheduled for Sundays – an increase of 6 games on days which are generally better for Club finances.
