Hyde United have announced the signing of goalkeeper Ryan Crump.

The highly regarded 20-year-old signs from National League outfit, Southport FC.

Ryan has previously played for Blackburn Rovers and the Liverpool FC Academy.

Striker Matthew Beadle has also joined the club.

The 27-year-old joins from Colne FC, where he has scored 7 in 17 starts this season including one against Hyde earlier in the campaign.

The prolific goal scorer hit the back of the net 34 times for 1874 Northwich in the 2015/2016 season.

Hyde are back in league action on Boxing Day at Droylsden FC.

The Tigers enter the clash on the back of a 2-1 loss at Bamber Bridge, which leaves the club two points above the Evo-Stik First Division North relegation zone.
