Hyde’s Artisan Market will make a return in March, with high hopes of continuing to grow in popularity.

The market was the brainchild of Karen Dorney – owner of Hyde’s premier artisan emporium, Paper Tulips.

Karen said: “Over the last six months the Artisan Craft Markets have brought together the area’s best artists, designers, crafters and creative entrepreneurs to showcase their work in a fun and uniquely cosmopolitan atmosphere.

“We have purposely tried to keep the uniqueness of the market alive by offering different artisans stalls at each event.

“This works to the bene-fit of all concerned as we carefully select sellers who do not compete or threaten Hyde’s traditional long established retailers or market stall holders.”

Karen added: “All the Craft Market applications are personally selected based on quality, innovation, originality and market acceptability.

“This way, each event offers a unique experience to shoppers each time they visit, with new sellers and products being showcased at each event.

“This practice is one we expect to carry over into the 2017 Artisan Market season.”
