Festool loan tools to college students

Tameside College carpentry and joinery department are working with Festool to provide students with the opportunity to use the latest power tools which help them with their studies.

Festool’s ‘Festool 4 School’ scheme has enabled Tameside College to loan £20,000 worth of the latest tools for 12 months. Bench Joinery students will use the tools within their practical workshop sessions.

Carl Tuckley, sales manager at Festool, demonstrated to students about the safest way and how to get the most out of the tools.

He said: “We work to provide students with safe, reliable and effective solutions for the workshop. We are proud to work with Tameside College as part of Festool 4 School and we hope the students get the most out of the workshops.”
