Curzon Ashton striker Adam Morgan has won the FA Cup goal of the second round for his stunning first-minute wonder goal against AFC Wimbledon last weekend.

The former Liverpool youngster thundered home a sublime 25-yard volley after just 35 seconds as the National League North club stormed into an early lead.

But, although the 22-year-old went on to bag a sensational hat-trick, he still ended up on the losing side as the League One club came from 3-0 down with 10 minutes to go to snatch a dramatic 4-3 win.

Wimbledon advanced to the third round, where they will face National League side Sutton United – but at least Curzon have something to take away from Sunday’s tie at the Tameside Stadium after the goal was voted the best in a BBC Sport poll.

And Morgan, who joined the Tameside club at the end of October, certainly did his reputation no harm in front of the BT Sport cameras as he took his Curzon goal account to one short of double figures.

You can re-live his stunning goal again in all its glory…
