The Nash received the award after winning the same category at the Pride of Tameside Sports Awards in September.

Last night’s ceremony was held at the Point, Old Trafford, and hosted by BBC North West Tonight’s Roger Johnson.

Curzon are competing in the first round of the FA Cup today for the first time since 2008.

Under manager Gary Lowe, the Nash beat Exeter City in the first round, before being knocked out of the competition in the second round at Kidderminster Harriers.

Highlights of today’s game will be shown on BT Sport 1 from 9pm this evening.
