Former Audenshaw School pupil Zach Clough helped Bolton Wanderers to a 1-0 victory over Coventry City in a League One fixture on Tuesday evening.

The 21-year-old notched his sixth goal in eight starts which sends Phil Parkinson’s side to third in the table.

Bolton were embroiled in financial turmoil last season and were subsequently relegated from the Championship.

However, the club have made a great start to this campaign, winning 11, drawing four and losing four of their opening 19 games.

Bolton continue their league campaign with a trip to Northampton Town on Saturday.
