Following a 4-0 victory over Bedworth United in the FA Cup third qualifying round on Saturday, Curzon Ashton have been rewarded with a clash in the next round at York City.

Managed by Jackie McNamara, The Minstermen currently occupy 19th spot in the National League.

Since being relegated from League 2 last season, York have found life difficult in the first tier of non-league football.

Of the 13 league fixtures played this season, York have won three, drawn three and lost five.

York’s latest defeat came against Aldershot in a 1-0 loss on Saturday.

The FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie is scheduled to be played on the weekend commencing 15 October.

Winners of each tie will receive a prize fund of £12,500.
