Missing Stalybridge girl, 16, now believed kidnapped along with younger brother

Police are searching for a 19-year-old man on suspicion of abducting two teenage siblings from their Stalybridge home.

Police fear the pair may now be in the South of England with their suspected abductor, Marius Savin, who may have plans to take them out of the country. All ports have been alerted and police are very worried for their safety.

16-year-old Camelia Lupu was last seen leaving her home address at around 4:05pm on Wednesday 7th September. Police have now revealed her younger brother, Noevelle, also went missing a week later.

The 13-year-old was last seen on Kimberley Street in Oldham, at 10.30am on Wednesday 14th September.

Sgt Lindsey Curry from GMP’s Phoenix Team said: “Concerns are rising from Camelia and Noevelle, as we believe they could be being taken out of the country.

“Marius Savin does not have their welfare at heart and we are extremely concerned for their safety.”

Camelia is described as having olive skin, approximately 5ft tall, of slim build with long black hair and may speak with a Romanian accent.

She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans, navy blue trainers with pink trim, a black t-shirt with white writing and a very red lipstick.

Noevelle is described as Romanian, also around 5ft tall with short dark hair. It is unknown what he was last wearing.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Camelia and Noevelle or know where Marius Savin may be, are asked to contact police as soon as possible on 101, quoting reference number 1714 of 07/09/16 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
