In what is likely to be the last sun filled day of the year, Sunday saw Charlesworth continue their dominant start to the Hyde Sunday League Premier Division, maintaining their 100% start with a 3-1 victory over Organ Athletic. Shamrock FC remain on their tail, however, as they were 3-1 winners over Blazing Rag. Ridgehill Celtic and Tintwistle Village picked up their first point of the season as they both played out a 4-4 draw. Harehill Tavern produce the shock of the day as they convincingly beat last season’s Division One champions Droylsden Sports 7-0.

In Division One, Railway FC continue to impress as they make it four wins from four with a 4-1 win over Roe Cross. Harehill Athletic suffer their first defeat of the season with Commercial FC running out 5-2 victors. Brushes Rangers and FC Britannia both picked up their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw.
