Dukinfield Rewarded With Second Round Clash Against Ashville

Dukinfield Town Football Club have been rewarded in the second round of the Cheshire Cup with a home tie against Ashville.

Adam Riding’s side cruised to a 4-1 victory over High Lane in the previous round on Saturday.

Ashville enter the competition as cup holders, having beaten Stockport Georgians 1-0 in last seasons final.

Competing in the West Cheshire League Division Two, Ashville have won five and drawn one of their opening six fixtures.

Meanwhile, Dukinfield currently lie 13th in the Manchester Football League Premier Division, having picked up six points from their opening six games.
