With Saturday being a washout, the 1st team fixture at home to Flowery Field on Sunday was this weekends only game.

With promotion secured on Saturday, the Denton batsmen went out free from pressure and openers Mason and Halpin got the innings off to a steady start before Mason fell, with Clayton following with the score on 63-2. This brought Beeley to the crease and himself (56) and Halpin (58) set up what was to become a match winning total of 187. Garde the pick of the visiting bowlers with 5-61 from his 14 overs.

In reply, Taylor and Neill bowled as miserly as ever and built up the pressure on the batsmen. Flowery soon fell to 38-3, which brought Castellas to the crease to join Garde. The pair put on 50 to leave the game fairly open, before the return of Taylor removed Garde (30), before Castellas (47) was superbly run out with a direct hit from Taylor. This halted the momentum of the innings and Taylor finished 5-28 off 14 overs, Neill with 2-10 from his 14 overs, and there were 2 late wickets for Pannett as the visitors finished 127 all out to give Denton all 6 points.

On Saturday, the 1st team host Edenfield in their final game of the season, with the 2nd team travelling to Bolton Indians for their penultimate game. On Sunday, the 3rd team travel to Whalley Range.
