Following Saturday’s fixtures, our local football teams are back in league action on Monday and Tuesday evening.

In the National League North, Stalybridge Celtic host Darlington 1883 at the Tameside Stadium this evening.

John Flanagan’s side claimed their first victory of the season at Alfreton Town on Saturday following a 1-0 win.

The Nash returned with maximum points thanks to a first half effort from Connor Hampson (pictured).

Tonight’s visitors are newly promoted to the National League North after claiming the Evo-Stik Premier title last season with 104 points.

The Quakers enter the clash sitting 9th in the table on four points, having opened their account with a 2-2 draw at Altrincham and following it up with 4-1 victory over Boston United on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Curzon sit 12th in the table following a loss, a draw and a victory.

Admission tonight has been priced at £12 Adult, £6 concession and £3 student.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm.
