Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Tackle Hyde Blaze

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire in a derelict building last night.

At around ten past ten in the evening they were called to Grange Road South in Hyde where rubbish had caught fire in an abandoned building.

Fire fighters used a hose reel, ceiling hook and ventilation equipment to tackle the blaze which last over an hour.

Crews from Ashton, Stalybridge and Hyde were needed to extinguish the flames.
