Garyhowardchilcot3A man from Mossley, who lost his sister in the Second Iraq War, is part of the group who have launched a £150,000 public crowdfunding appeal to pay for lawyers to potentially bring those responsible to justice.

Gary Howard’s sister, Staff Sergeant Sharron Elliott, died in Iraq in 2006 and now, as part of the Iraq War Families Group, he would like to see if there is scope to sue former Prime Minister Tony Blair and others responsible for the catastrophic failings highlighted in the 2.6million word Chilcot Report.

In this interview, Gary talks about how Sharron’s death could have been prevented, his own experiences of the failings of the Iraq War and his families extensive military tradition.
