UPDATES Huge Fire at Bailey Mill in Delph

A huge fire has broken out at Bailey Mill in Delph, near Saddleworth.

Greater Manchester Fire service were called at 3.04pm to the derelict mill on Delph New Road with the fire currently being tackled from the air and the ground.

They have asked residents to close windows and doors and for people to avoid the red area if possible.

Delph New Road is closed as a result and queues are expected on the A62 Huddersfield Road and other roads in the surrounding area.

Part of the mill has collapsed as a result of the fire. Station Approach has been evacuated due to its proximity to the mill.
