Murder Trial of Kieran McGrath Starts Today

The trial of Kieran McGrath, who was shot in Ashton in October 2014, starts today at Liverpool Crown Court.

26-year-old Kieran, from Clayton, collapsed and died outside Ashton Police Station after being shot in the chest outside the Sheldon Arms pub and driving nearly half a mile.

Five men and one woman appearing on trial are:

Bretony Gallimore, 24, from Crumpsall.
Troy Beckford, 24, from Golborne;
Anthony Henry, 31, of no fixed address;
Scott Chapman, 27, from Newton Heath;
Jace Smith, 31, from Blackley and
Remi Adams, 33, from Whitefield.

The trail is expected to last for ten weeks.
