Four Audenshaw 1st XV stars were presented with their first team ties in assembly on Monday morning in recognition of making seven appearances for the school’s senior team.

Back row, Matt Sonczak and fly half, Dan Moriarty have been long time stalwarts of Audenshaw Rugby, both having played for the school for six seasons.

Winger Christian Pollitt began his school rugby career in 2013 and has added much needed pace and tenacity on the edges this year.

Finally, flanker, Owen Robinson who debuted in 2015 was also recognised for his invaluable contribution to the team this year.

U16 stars, Dan Johnson and Warrington Wolves ace, Patrick Anglin will receive their ties later this week too after also playing the required number of first team games. The PE Department would like to congratulate the boys on their efforts.
