Police are hunting thieves after high value bikes were stolen in raids across Charlesworth.

All of the thefts happened around the same time.

A black Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen after thieves forced their way into a garage on Marple Road, between midnight on Thursday, October 15 and 10am the following day.

Around the same time, thieves made off with three high value bikes after using tools to force open the garage door at a house on Tomwood Rise.

Two black and white Cube Acid mountain bikes and a red Specialized mountain bike disappeared between 6pm on October 15 and 9am on October 17.

Power tools and a mountain bike were also stolen from three garages on Lee Vale Drive and Long Lane on October 15.

The police safer neighbourhood team is also urging motorists, particularly tradespeople, to consider the security of their vehicles after power tools were stolen from vans in Glossop and Charlesworth over the last week.
