Brother UK held a fundraiser at their Audenshaw offices on Friday for the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

The day was in remembrance of Erin Eddleston- the daughter of Brother employee Cath Eddleston and her husband Steve- who sadly lost her life to Leukemia in December.

The aim was to raise money to sponsor a room at the Ronald McDonald House at Manchester Children’s Hospital in memory of Erin.

The theme of the day was bright and colourful- words often used to describe Erin.

Each office at the Audenshaw site decorated their areas with prizes handed out for the best-dressed area and best-dressed person. There was also a cake bake competition, tombola, book stall and a huge raffle.

Prizes included an iPhone 6, iPad2, carvery for four at the Village, Manchester Derby tickets, a Brother Sewing Machine, Trip to Imperial War Museum and a lunch voucher, handmade wooden garden chair, Halle tickets, champagne and prosecco and much more.

A fantastic day was had by all Brother UK employees who raised £2,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charity, which is enough to sponsor Erin’s room for the next three years.
