Woman seriously injured in collision in Hyde.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a road traffic collision this afternoon.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Sunday (3 May), when a 73-year-old woman was crossing Clark Way at its junction with Mottram Road, Hyde.

A silver Volkswagen Golf turning right from Mottram Road collided with the woman leaving her with serious injuries.

The driver stopped at the scene and the woman was taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses to this collision and anyone with information is asked to contact PC Philip Shaw from Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741.
