Racing ahead into the next season

For Adam Gittings, the racing season is over, but his dreams of success for next year’s campaign are very much alive.

The 21 year old managed to secure a first place in the overall Championship with the Preston and District Motorcylce Club last season when he went neck and neck during the finale of the pre-injection class.

He also secured a fourth place in the newcomer’s Championship.
But despite his recent success and triumphant season, the youngster is hungry for more.

According to the Hyde based thrill seeker, the work has only just begun. He told Reporter Sport “I was delighted with the way things panned out last season and believe it bodes well for the future.

“Even though it was me racing on the bike, it was well and truly a team effort and praise must be attributed to my close friends and family, plus the sponsors who were invaluable!”

Adam is set to take to the tracks next year in the Thundersport GB on the team’s new Kawasaki Zx6r, which promises to be an exciting future for the youngster. But although the anticipation is building, the work has yet to begun. He added “Sponsorship will be a major influence on my racing next year and if I want to succeed then I’ll need to recruit as much support as possible.

“I already have a loyal sponsorship team who have helped me come this far, but I’m in need of additional sponsorship to push me that little bit further which could potentially bring me even more success.”
