KatieA Tameside family are on a mission to raise £20,000 for their daughter.

The Holmes family from Denton have set up a charity for their daughter Katie called ‘Katie’s Dream’ and now hope to help all her dreams come true.

At six-years-old Katie was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and had to have daily physio to reduce tightness in her legs.

However, she now suffers with something called in-toeing, a condition that causes her legs to twist making it difficult to walk.

Next year Katie will go for an operation in Leeds Hospital to correct this, but it will leave her in a cast from her feet to her waist for up to a year.

The family aims to raise £20,000 to pay for the important aftercare Katie will need, which includes intense physio and hydrotherapy.
The money will also go to buying a wheelchair for her to use after the operation.
