Oh we do like to be beside the seaside.
Wednesday 24th September 2014 @ 08:00 by Anna Fletcher

Hyde Grafton Centre member Harry Horrocks touched the heart of a brand new charity set to bring the fun and joy back into ageing.

When retired warehouseman Harry, 76, was asked what brought joy to his life, he simply said on a message board that he loved to “travel to the seaside”.

His words touched the heart of the new charity, the Home Instead Senior Care Bring Joy Foundation, set to celebrate its official launch by making its very first UK donation.

Thanks to Harry, who visits the Grafton Centre every week day, the Bring Joy Foundation funded a VIP day trip to the seaside town of Llandudno – and not just for Harry – but 95 members from the centre too.
