Here’s to a Fabulata future.

The Anthony Seddon Fund is going from strength to strength in their quest to raise awareness and funds for mental health across Tameside.

Most recently they opened their new charity shop, Fabulata Designs, on Stamford Street in Ashton.

Founder of the fund Donna Thomas said: “It’s become so much more than just an opportunity to make some funds, it’s a project in itself.”

Donna named the fund after her son Anthony Seddon, who took his own life 17 months ago.

Donna said: “That was at the end of a 12 year battle with bipolar; he was diagnosed when he was 18 and he died when he was 30.

“It was life changing in very many ways. I’d always advocated on behalf of people with mental health issues because of my personal experiences, but when my son died I really felt this urge to help anyone else who might be going through what we went through.”
