Danielle with her pride and joy, ‘Classical Charmer’

The 32-year-old, who owns an Anglo-Arab stallion, travelled to Malvern to take on other competitors in the highly acclaimed event.
The show, which proudly stands as the largest breed show in Europe, allows competitors to showcase their horses in dressage, show jumping, western riding and in-hand showing.

The Malvern event also boasts a distinctive festival atmosphere, which was very much enhanced last week by the soaring temperatures seen across the country.

Danielle can now boast of being a British Champion and is extremely proud in doing so. Despite a lengthy sabbatical due to getting married and owning a beauty salon, the horse enthusiast got straight back in the saddle to showcase her talents.

Speaking to Reporter Sport about her experience last week, she detailed the pride she has in her young horse, Classical Charmer, and admitted it was hard to hold back the tears. She said: “We had the best show to date and it was truly amazing.
“We won the Anglo Arab Stallion and the light horse in hand classes and received British National Champion in hand.”
