The accolades have racked up significantly over the past 12 months, in which she has competed at county level, winning the under-15s’ County Championships, and represented the English Schools Golf Association in an international match against Wales.

The talented Ashtonian will take to the Greens on April 10 and 11, accompanied by six other golfers in Strathmore.

Speaking to the Reporter about her call-up, she admitted it’s been a promising start to her golfing career and one that bodes well for the future.

She said: “This is a fantastic start to my golfing season.

“To represent England in a championship that will see more than 100 girls from across Europe take part is a dream come true.

“This makes the hours and hours of practice all worthwhile.”
